ACS Cetacean Curriculum

A teacher's guide to introducing and using whales, dolphins, & porpoises in the classroom---

This curriculum is intended as a resource for teachers interested in introducing their students to whales, dolphins and porpoises. It contains some basic background information on cetaceans and offers some ideas for activities to engage students. It is not intended to be either all encompassing or the ultimate resource. The hope is that this will serve as a springboard for teachers and their students to delve into the world of cetaceans and the marine environment.

The ACS cetacean curriculum may be freely copied for educational or scientific purposes. We do ask that new users 'register' their email addresses with us. If you have already registered, simply make your selection from the following menu. (The sign-in box will come up but if you told your computer to store the user name and password last time you accessed the curriculum, you will not need to enter it again.)
